Azwel

In the annals of Songfight lore, Azwel has a somewhat ignominious place. Azwel is the musical project of Jason Perrillo. His music is Britpop inspired melodic pop that first appeared on the Song Fight radar during the So Long, Atticus fight. The only problem was that the song he entered was an old song called "Open Breeze", not a new song created for the fight. The song did receive rave reviews but in the end was disqualified.

Since then Azwel has gone on to several albums including his debut album, Hap End Void (2003), and his most recent album, Ogo Lacroix. He has also returned to Songfight redeeming himself with two strong songs in the Martians are Going to Eat Us and Tomorrow's Almost Over fights.
