Down With Gender

Songfight has had its share of artists that utilize the competition as a way to try out experimental music. One of the bands to have done so is Down With Gender. DWG may have earned loathing with their Devo/Kraftwerk inspired pieces, but they never failed at getting noticed.

William Wooten-Janney, Samuel Hanson, Kenneth Wright and Pete Lance make up the band. The band competed in 15 fights. Their most notable entries came during the Chaos & Order fight, where they picked up the "win"; and the Cur fight. Before the Cur fight, the DWG members challenged Song Fight to make experimental noise music like they had been. Song Fight accepted. DWG ended up taking third place in the fight. Proving DWG sucked at their own brand of suckiness.

DWG has since gone on to taking their act to the live stage and just released their first album, There's No Sex Like No Sex on MT6 Records, a label no one has any respect for.
