Song Fight's definitive Canadian drummer. Tom Skillman a.k.a. Leaf started in music as a part of a boys choir and got to tour Canada, US and Europe. That was enough to give Leaf the music bug and he started his first band at age 14. A few years later, he was playing in bar & cover bands all over British Columbia. But the mix of the rock life and balancing a job and family became too much and Leaf nearly died in 2002 of an ulcer. He decided to take a step back and slowly made his resurgence into music. With that resurgence came his entry into Song Fight. His first appearance was a part of the band TJ's Chillum. Five months later, Leaf already had his first Songfight win as a part of the power trio, Redcar. Soon Leaf became even more immersed in the Songfight community as he has done several more collaborations including The Bloody Hams, Leablit, Hedefine and the Canadian supergroup, Gert.
