The title "Moscow, Idaho" was inspired by Marcus Kellis, then a student at the University of Idaho at Moscow, who entered the fight and wrote lyrics for Devotchka's entry. fluffy porcupine did a notable spoken-word piece, and sonofsupercar entered with a hard rocker (as is their usual wont). The Voice Inside Your Head entered a far-less-notable Russian death metal spoof inspired by (and featuring a ridiculously long sample from) a scene in the movie Clerks. The unusually high volume of votes was spillover from the simultaneous fight Romantic Cheapskate, which featured an entry from MC Frontalot. Fighters Redcar and Jim Tyrrell made their SF debuts in this fight.
