sonofsupercar were an indie rock band based out of the San Francisco bay area, known for thunderous rock sound and strong live performances. The band consisted of drummer Blue Lang, singer-guitarist Dennis West, & bass guitarist Stephen Rogers (as well as the occasional guitar help from Mo Ouyang).

The band met through the website Craigslist and quickly became powerhouses in the Songfight community with their Shellac inspired sound. They released several albums before their demise in early 2006. the most notable of those albums was 2004's "We Have Ignition".

They rocked the pants off of anyone who heard them. And some people who didn't.
