x-tokyo-river-god

X-tokyo-river-god is an experimental band created by Niveous. The band started off as Niveous attempting to create electronica music. The first XTRG song Snow Fort featured a chilling sample and the vocals of Nataly K, a character voiced using TTS software. The song was a success earning Fightmaster's Pick honors in that fight, leading Niveous to experiment further. As the experiments grew, Niveous felt limited in where he could go in the project and decided to add in more members. In the Ellis Island fight, the new full band version XTRG debuted with Johnny Cashpoint, Niveous and Noah McLaughlin. Constantly striving to push the envelope, the band played with soundscaping, sampling and unusual production. But the sound was not complete. The band's roster soon rounded out with the addition of Anti-M, who made her band debut during the Don't Think I Don't Miss You fight. Roymond was recently unanimously added to the group but has yet to appear on a song.

As for the origin of the name...it is a well guarded secret.
